Essential Oils Insect Repellent Sprays
This is our original product best seller. It is best for flies and mosquitoes and will also repel ticks (but doesn’t last as long and is not as thorough as our Extra Strength Tick repellent). It is a light and fresh spray that can be sprayed head to toe including on hair and clothing and is made with a broad range of essential oils including cedarwood, citronella, clove, geranium, lemongrass, peppermint, rosemary, and spearmint. While our 8 ounce bottles use our patented trigger spray, our 4 ounceand 2-ounce sizes (with pump sprayers) are convenient for travel and to carry in a handbag or a backpack. The carry-on size is available in a convenient 3-pack with value pricing.

All of them are renowned for their fantastic insect repellent properties. Nantucket Spider is made using the perfect blend of organic essential oils with just water and glycerin. The Best Natural Insect Repellent
Why should you use a DEET-free bug spray ? First, a history lesson. DEET is a synthetic repellent that was first developed in the 1940s for the U.S. military; it wasn’t until the 1950s that DEET became widely used commercially. The thing about DEET is that it can have negative side effects like nausea, skin rashes, eye irritation, and a lot more, especially when used long term and in higher concentrations. DEET can also damage synthetic and hard plastic equipment and is a common pollutant since it doesn't degrade easily in natural bodies of water.
We make sure all our natural insect repellents and bug sprays are DEET-free, nut-free, soy-free, and vegan. Another thing we are proud of is that our products are cruelty-free. We will never condone animal testing, and Nantucket Spider supports animal rights.
Available in 4 sizes: 16-ounce family-sized bottles and 8-ounce bottles that come with our patented trigger spray, and convenient 4-ounce bottles & 2-ounce bottles that come with pump sprays and are perfectly sized for packing in any bag or backpack.
Directions on how to use our 4oz and 2oz sprays:
First, shake the natural insect repellent spray bottle well and then push the button on the nozzle to unlock. Remember to keep the bug spray nozzle pointed away from the face. Spray on your skin, hair, clothing, and even your outdoor gear using a sweeping motion to ensure that you’re fully covered. Do keep in mind that humidity affects all repellents, so feel free to reapply when needed. To deter ticks, make sure to spray your legs thoroughly, with focus on your socks and shoes. For a more effective, and longer-lasting tick repellent, please use our Extra-Strength Tick Repellent.
Remember, make sure to test each repellent first on a small patch of skin for sensitivity before use.
