In the Middle Magdalena Valley of Colombia, a group of twenty women have transformed a grassland into a diverse forest, planting 3,024 trees of 49 species. Supported by Fundación Biodiversa and Rainforest Trust, they created sustainable income through agroecology and forest restoration. The initiative enhances biodiversity, supports endangered species, and addresses community needs like food security and environmental awareness.
